Title: Bibliometric analysis of dysphagia research based on the Web of Science database
Biography:
Yanlin Liu, female, 23 years old, master of nanjing medical university, China, majoring in community nursing and rehabilitation nursing
Abstract:
:To analyze the research status quo and research hotspots of dysphagia by bibliometrics, and to provide valuable evidence for clinical research. Methods:The published relevant literatures on dysphagia were retrieved from the Web of Science core collection database from 2009 to 2018. Content analysis on the included literature was conducted.Bicomb2.0 software was used to analyze the frequency of keywords and using the literature analysis function of the Web of Science database to analyze the research status quo and research hotspots of the dysphagia, and understand its research direction. Results:A total of 3520 articles related to dysphagia were retrieved. The published literatures volume had increased year by year. The research directions focused on Gastroenterology Hepatology,Neurology and Otorhinolaryngology. The United States had the largest number of publications,China ranked 8th.The organization with the largest number of publications was the University of Toronto, and the most published in China was Sichuan University.Dysphagia was the journal that published the most literatures. The international researches of dysphagia focused on the diagnosis and treatment of dysphagia and assessment. And 29 high-frequency keywords were obtained by using Bicomb2.0 software.Articles on dysphagia concentrated on dysphagia screening tools, dysphagia rehabilitation and dysphagia complications. Conclusions:From 2009 to 2018 The researches on dysphagia had strengthened year by year. The global researches focused on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention management of dysphagia.

Title: Effects of Mindfulness-based interventions(MBI) in patients with heart failure: A systematic review and meta-analysis
Biography:
Yuanyuan Peng, female, 23 years old, master of nanjing medical university, China, majoring in cardiovascular medicine nursing
Abstract:
To systematically review the effects of mindfulness-based nursing interventions (including mindfulness-based stress reduction and mindfulness exercise, etc.) on negative emotions, quality of life, exercise tolerance and cardiac function in patients with heart failure. Methods Computerized retrieval of randomized controlled trials (RCT) of mindfulness- based interventions(MBI) applied in patients with chronic heart failure from PubMed,The Cochrane Library, EMbase, CINHAL,SinoMed,CNKI,WanFang Data, with the retrieval time limit starting from the inception until April 9,2019.In addition, assisted by manual retrieval and reference tracing. Two researchers independently screened the literatures according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, extracted the data, evaluated the bias risk of the included literatures and cross- checked them. The results that could be quantitatively combined were meta-analyzed with RevMan 5.3 software. Results A total of 9 RCT articles involving 344 patients were included.Meta-analysis results showed that compared with usual care/usual exercise,MBI could improve patients’ depression [SMD = 0.30,95%CI(0.58, 0.03),P =0.03],the quality of life (MLHFQ) [WMD =7.09,95% CI (12.80, 1.38), P = 0.01],6 minutes walk test (6WMT) [WMD=24.54,95% CI (5.00, 44.09),P = 0.01], peak oxygen consumption (VO2) [WMD=5.45,95%CI(2.05,8.86),P= 0.002],heart rate(HR)[WMD=-4.87,95%CI(-9.85,0.10),P=0.05], but there was no statistically significant difference in the improvement of anxiety level (P >0.05).Conclusions Compared with usual care/usual exercise, mindfulness-based nursing interventions(MBI) could effectively improve the depression, quality of life, exercise tolerance and cardiac function of patients with heart failure, but the improvement on anxiety was not obvious.Due to the small number of studies included, there may be some bias existing, new RCTs need to be added to verify the results in the future

Abstract:
Stress urinary incontinence (SUI) is common and is strongly related to pregnancy and childbirth. Pelvic floor muscle training (PFMT) is recommended as the first line conservative treatment for SUI. However, there is no consensus on how PFMT should be best performed. The study aims to evaluate the effects of mobile app-based PFMT for primigravid women with SUI in comparison to conventional PFMT. Participants were recruited in the obstetric clinic of a tertiary maternity hospital in Hangzhou, a provincial capital in eastern China, from January to April 2018. Participants were randomly assigned to intervention group (n=54) receiving mobile app-based PFMT with a systematic audio guidance or control group (n=54) receiving conventional PFMT and 98 participants completed the follow-up study. SUI symptoms, sexual function and adherence to PFMT were assessed using standardized questionnaires and pelvic floor training diary and pelvic floor muscle strength was measured by pelvic floor electromyography from baseline to 6 months after delivery. Bladder neck mobility was evaluated by perineal ultrasound at 6 to 8 weeks. App group reported significant reduction in SUI symptom score and improvement in pelvic floor electromyography (p<0.001) and better sexual function (22.2 vs. 17.3, p<0.05) compared with control group at 6 months. Ultrasound showed significant difference in bladder neck mobility between app group and control group (16.3 vs. 19.5, P<0.05). Besides, app group showed better adherence with higher training intensity and higher self-efficacy. The mobile app-based PFMT is a more effective treatment alternative with better adherence.

Title: Level of Awareness Regarding Diabetes Mellitus: Basis for Health Education Program
Biography:
Evangeline B. Mananquil, is currently enrolled in Liceo de Cagayan University under the program of Doctor in Management Major in Advanced Health Care Administration. She also acquired her Master in Nursing degree at Misamis University, Ozamis City, Philippines. She is already 53 years old and has been educating nursing students since the year 2004. She was able to present her paper in the International Conference on Humanities, Sciences and Education held in Malaysia last March 24-25, 2014 with her research paper entitled “Functional Status of Select Elderly in Iligan City”.
Abstract:
Diabetes is a major public health problem that is approaching epidemic proportions globally. It is sixth (6th) leading cause of death in the Philippines. Here in Iligan City, the Department of Health already launched a diabetes awareness program throughout the city. Incidence of diabetic patients continues to rise irregardless of the awareness program conducted, thus the researchers wanted to know as to the level of awareness among the residents of Barangay Tubod and Barangay Saray: Basis for A Health Education Program. This study used on the qualitative descriptive survey method, and there were 100 respondents. A self-made questionnaire was the main instrument used in this study. The data gathered were validated, interpreted and analyzed using the statistical tools of frequency and percentage, mean, standard deviation and ANOVA. Results showed that there were no significant difference of the respondent’s profile and their level of awareness. In terms of the level of awareness of the respondents regarding the signs and symptoms and health beliefs of diabetes, clients were somewhat aware. However, as to causes of diabetes, complications of the disease, health practices and availability of health centers showed that clients were aware of the level of awareness regarding diabetes mellitus. The data showed that there was no significant difference as to their age, sex, weight, baseline blood pressure, current blood sugar level, diabetes type, family history, educational attainment, and monthly income. Thus, sustenance of these programs was necessary. Moreover, additional health education programs are needed for the awareness of the diabetic clients.
